"Every Third Thought" opens right in the thick of a life interrupted and proceeds towards a precipice. In the end what we get is a bit more complex and nuanced. It is a middle-aged man's journey back to himself through the power of love. This is my second reading of this book and I appreciated it more this time. Maybe because I got older too.
